Handley Gibson are an awful management company that do the bare minimum to avoid getting on the bad side of those regulating them. I'm a tenant, to a private landlord, living in a relatively small apartment complex and I have watched the overall quality and reliability of management deteriorate since Handley Gibson took over the management responsibilities. The one positive to Handley Gibson is how they have this fantastic ability to turn any simple task into a long drawn out and inefficient process where they'll perform the action, or have a serviceman perform the action, and the communication comes after the fact. I have never come across a group of people as inefficient at communication as those, working at Handley Gibson, that manage our complex. It is absolutely fascinating/baffling. If you've read this far, the only reason you'd pick Handley Gibson is because you genuinely don't care about your tenant, or the tenants living in a complex.

I would give 0 starts if I could. Agreed a price on a rental and submitted the application. Heard nothing from them for over 2 weeks. I sent them several emails which were all ignored. I finally managed to get in touch with them to be told they are still processing the application. Later that evening I got an email stating they had rented the office to another company who had offered more rent. Obviously they were stringing me on until they got a better offer. What really annoys me is I would have offered more had they given me the opportunity to do so.

I engage HG to manage the freehold estate for a block of flats and I find them incredibly poor. Terrible communications (there are no regular updates and rarely any communication without repeated prompting) and a terrible attitude. They are very happy to take our monthly fees but seem to view any interaction as a hassle or inconvenience. I would recommend against.

Appalling experience in dealing with this 'outfit' from a professional and personal experience. The woeful rating is of no surprise and we are able to concur with all poor agent / block management experience. It's top down examples of abject unprofessionalism is alarming. Avoid!!!

I had a garage rented through Handley Gibson and they was great. Even when I had a little billing issue (when I moved banks). Just handed the keys back and even the whole checkout process was just great. Can't recommend enough.
