Greenbelt are an awful company, greedy and services are below par for what is paid! They service our greenlands and they don't even empty the bins despite a few emails - no I won't be responding to you now since putting this on here... I wonder how much they make from all their land? Finally, it is really interesting to see all the negative reviews on Greenbelt here and how they respond, but only the ones they want! I don't want a response, just do the jobs you are paid for

When their representative met with us prior to them taking over the maintenance of our site, he told us how we might be entitled to a water rates discount, and implored us to give him/the company great feedback. Now that theyve taken over, however, my first call to Customer Services turned out to be most unsatisfactory. I wanted to know how they were going to protect our thriving hedgehog population, (their paperwork is full of platitudes about biodiversity, nature, wildlife and protection,) when I had been told that RoundUp (which is harmful to wildlife) and that strimmers would be used to trim long grass etc under established hawthorn hedges, potentially with no prior checks to establish the presence of wildlife being carried out. Essentially, I was told that we dont have our own contractors, its all about cost, I dont have the information you need, and I dont know what training the contractors give their staff. I asked how the contractors contracts reflected the values stated in their marketing, and how compliance was monitored. The assistant didnt know and clearly couldnt be bothered to find out - at one point suggesting I ring THEIR contractors. Poor.

This company are an absolute scam that unfortunately our hands are tied and we can do nothing about. Greenbelt were written into our deeds when we bought the house, and 0ver 500 houses paying 120 a month, plus. The work thats done is done well, but the price paid for what they do is nothing short of criminal. We are supposed to get credits for usage of a cricket pavilion... but we are all unable to use for some shoddy reason. When you look at the breakdown on the statement it's laughable and how this is legal is beyond me. Sonething must be done. I'd never buy a house managed by these if I ever move again... it just can't be legal what they are doing. If I set up a company and charged for works not done and promised credits for impossible usage of something id be done for fraud. Why are they getting away with this???? AVOID AVOID AVOID
