I do not like giving bad reviews but this is really sad. We Booked an apartment through Booking in York, we arrived to a dirty apartment and had to clean it our self. Pass the property seemed really dismissive and until we expressed our concern that they didnt seem bothered wed spent over 300 to arrive to an unclean apartment, they was rude. Really uncooperative and havent helped us get our money back at all. Arriving to what should be a relaxing holiday and having to go out to buy cleaning products, to sweep, hoover and mop as well as change all the bedding and disinfect the entire place is not how you expect to start your vacation. Utterly appalled and will never be dealing with this company again.

I just wanted to share one of the worst experience I ever had with Pass the Property. I stayed in one of the properties located in Peckover street, Bradford, UK for almost 2 weeks between 17-30 March and what followed was apparently a SCAM. Initially I was requested to make an upfront security deposit of 175 which they mentioned will be refunded in 2 days post your check out. However, when I called and asked pass the property for refund they claimed there were some damages reported by the cleaners and they will repair the items and share the remaining amount. I kept insisting to investigate the damages as these were not done by me as these were already there when I checked in. Except one damage wherein the bedsheet was made dirty which for some reason the cleaner claimed that the stains (Icecream) cannot be washed off. (Ironically, these are the same cleaners who claimed they changed the bulbs when I reported lack of light in the bathroom whereas nobody showed up and they closed the ticket with some wrong pictures. This false claim was also accepted by the PASS THE PROPERTY that the cleaner lied earlier). Eventually, they charged me 120 for those damages which I haven't done. Since I did not take pictures when I checked in, the blame came on me which disappointed me bigtime. One thing is for sure, I will never engage with Pass the property in the future as there is no hearing for the customers. I would like to request you all to take pictures/videos as soon as you get in to Pass the property apartments, as they may blame you for any damages observed post your check out.
