What a fantastic place. My Romanian Rescue Tasha sheds hair like you would not believe. So I booked her in for the de-shed and groom to prevent me from having to continue to hoover three times a day. Tash is pretty frightened of things like this, but as soon as she came in the door she was made to feel at home. I'm not even sure she'd noticed I'd left which is very unusual. Oh my goodness when she came back home she smelt delightful, was soft as silk and best of all was not shedding hair. Thank you Macy and Hugo's.

I am usually not one to write reviews, positive or negative, but I am very disappointed and upset by our recent experience with Macy & Hugos. I first visited Macy & Hugos with my one-year-old pup about 3 months ago and subsequently, I made a recurring appointment to come back again the first recurring appointment was supposed to be earlier this week. Leading up to the appointment, I didnt receive any reminder texts. I tried calling THREE times throughout the week before the appointment to confirm the date and time. No one answered any of my calls and no one at Macy & Hugos made any attempt to call back. On the actual day of the appointment, we saw that the property was completely empty the salon was dark, no lights were on, and there was no furniture in the store front. Hence, we came to the logical conclusion that Macy & Hugos had either closed down or relocated without sending any communication. Later in the day, I received a text from Macy & Hugos requesting a no-show fee! Feeling that this was very unfair, I went back to the salon and explained the situation I even suggested they watch the CCTV to prove that we were there in the morning! Despite this, we were still forced to pay the no-show fee. While I understand the no-show fee is a company policy, I am disappointed that they were unable to recognise the circumstances we were under and how unjust we felt being charged a penalty that was not entirely our fault. I hope Macy & Hugos are receptive to this feedback and as a goodwill gesture to their customers, start considering the circumstances of no-shows as I am now left feeling like I have been scammed.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, our Puppy was happy and came home looking and smelling gorgeous and with a bag of treats.
