10/10 would recommend motive8 and Kate I came across motive8 after googling gym classes Leeds city centre. Little did I know 8 months later I wouldve completed 2 x do it in 12 plans and be a regular gym/class goer at motive8. Best thing Ive ever done! I gained almost 2 stone during lockdown and just gave up looking after myself. I felt lathargic, unhappy in my clothes and my excuse to everything was cba. Once I got back into the office I decided to attend couple of motive8 classes to try get back into a routine and I loved them - the environment was so welcoming and, although the classes were tough, you could go at your own pace. After doing one of Kates classes, I decided to approach her about PT. I felt like I needed some structure and accountability. My new year new me goal for 2022 was to get back to my prelockdown self, but every couple of weekends I failed. Kate and I discussed my goals and I took the plunge with the do it in 12 plan (details on the website - Id recommend investing in yourself if you have a specific goal - you wont regret it). My primary goal was weight loss, but Kates PT sessions made me actually enjoy the process (something I never thought Id say!). Ive always dreaded exercise and had the attitude of lets just get it done. I dont know if its how hard Kate made me work or how funny she is - but I actually looked forward to the GYM!! As well as smashing my weight loss goals, I felt like I was learning a lot and my goals developed. I decided to do another 12 week plan as I wanted to become more confident and focus on strength. After completing the second do it in 12 (only a few days ago) I felt like I can now go it alone (although im really going to miss PTing with Kate). Id recommend motive8 to anyone no matter what your goals - its a quiet gym with someone around to always help you. The classes are intimate so you get to know other members well, who are all friendly and theres no pressure. If youre considering PT, id recommend the do it in 12 plan (and Kate as the trainer - although I am bias!). If you have a goal in mind, this is the plan for you. Its broken down into 3 x training cycles so it keeps everything fresh and that you dont loose motivation. Ive hit all my targets and couldnt have done it without Kates help and support, so thank you! I dont think this will be the end of PT with Kate but wish me luck on trying it alone #tothebatmobile

Motiv8 North is a great gym with good facilities and good people. Everyone has been very knowledgeable and supportive since I signed up after the second lockdown to get my fitness back. Having attended classes with Emily, Beth and Jenny as well as weekly PT sessions with Josh, my strength, fitness and mental health have improved dramatically. I would recommend the gym for people of all levels of fitness, especially those wanting to step things up a level or get more control on their lifestyle.

Josh is a great PT and has really helped me over the last few months. The facilities are amazing at Motiv8 and all the staff are really friendly. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a gym/PT.
