My mum has been looked after by villa care over the last 4 weeks. I cant speak highly enough of the care she is receiving , or the staff who work tirelessly to care for the patients. Nothing is too much trouble they are so caring . I was slightly apprehensive about her being transferred there after reading reviews but honestly can not fault the care.

I cannot stress this enough, if you're told that one of your loved ones is going to a rehabilitation ward run by this organisation, please do everything you can to stop it from happening. How they have the audacity to use the word 'care' in their company name is beyond me. Absolute incompetence and negligence with devastating impact!

Villa care run the convalescent wards at Wharfedale Hospital. The care is none existent my mum went in there after breaking her femur, she spent two weeks in the LGI no bed sores. Stays in the Villa Care unit for five weeks and leaves with a grade three bed sore due to complete lack of leadership and care. Staff hiding behind doors and in empty rooms on their phones. Turning the tv to something they want to watch. Refusing to give a patient a cup of tea saying they would get one in an hour. Hence visitors having to buy hot drinks for their relatives that have dementia and are vulnerable. unexplained small bruises on upper arms Consistent with nipping. If it wasnt for kind patients that had all their facilities about them helping my mum it would have been worse.
