Welcome Nurseries @ Meanwood Road

It is not organised at all since new owners took over. The only reason it gets one star is because I can't give zero. Awful experience just by sending my kid there for 3 days. Shocking management, the owners are un helpful/ terrible and do not care about your child, only your money. Not to mention when we tried to cancel the position for 3 times through email confirmation and they still havent replied anything back (very poor communication) and have been constantly sending us invoices. STAY AWAY!!

My son was only in this nursery over 1 month. I have serious safeguarding concerns regarding the safety and well being of the children, and not only about COVID - 19 precautions which are woeful. I have written to the CEO of the nursery chain to express my concern. The CEO and the management team has no interest in anything except money. The culture in this nursery is TOXIC!

I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for all you have done this year. We know how hard you work on a day-to-day basis in any given year, but 2020 has been like no other. The coronavirus pandemic has affected change on so many levels and I am very pleased of the way you have continually adapted and responded to the requirements placed on you. A huge thank you to all First Nursery team. I offer you my sincere thanks for all that you have done and continue to do to deliver such high standards of care to our children. Truly thank you!

First Nursery has been our home away from home for many years, our children are very happy and above all for us that is the most important aspect; they have a flexible, safe environment where they can play, develop, learn and be happy! I cannot praise the staff enough for creating and maintaining this space for my children while I go to work. I have total peace of mind they will be stimulated with numerous activities, fed with home cooked, healthy meals and return home with stories of exciting play time every day. The management and the staff are always on hand at drop off and pick up for any questions, they provide support and any feedback is communicated with consideration and the utmost of care. The teamwork between staff and parent is wonderful, nothing is a 'problem' and everything can be 'worked out' together for you and the family.
