Hiring Colin Wallace for independent mortgage advice was the best decision we ever made! This man went above and beyond for us for 2 years! We had all sorts of non starters and issues, I'm sure anyone else would have given up on us, but Colin has become a close friend now. He's a mortgage wizard! He found us so much more money than we thought we had and we have now finally moved into our absolute dream home with a huge 0.6acre garden. We had a very complicated situation where Colin found us a great rate for both a Residential Mortgage and a Let To But Mortgage. What this man doesn't know about mortgages, isn't worth knowing. If we ever thought we'd found 'the one' Colin would respond to our emails / texts weekday or weekend, day or night. We particularly enjoyed it when we started to meet in the pub. Colin was also amazing at speeding up the solicitors so we could close before another Stamp Duty increase. We just moved into our new place, got a welcome card from Colin and family, and due to go for a celebratory drink soon. This man saved us thousands in great rates, early close and cash back on mortgage offers, not to mention finding thousands in our situation that allowed us to buy the dream home. There is nothing more Colin could have done for us, amazing finance advisor and now, a good friend for life. Worth every penny and more!

Where to start. Allen is the guy if you have a challenge. Last year we contacted Allen with regards to getting a mortgage, the sale didn't end up going through but it still became apparent that there would be a few 'hurdles' to overcome when we did want to proceed with a mortgage application. This year our search for a house continued, after 2 estate agents looked into the mortgage for us we were given a straight no within an hour without them even digging a little deeper (the estate agents in question advised that they prefer you to use their mortgage providers to make the process 'easier') We then viewed a house which would be sold through a private sale, this is where Allen came to the rescue and quite literally worked his socks off for us to get us the right lender. Allen has been there from start to finish with no stone left unturned. We are due to complete on our house buy in less than 2 weeks and we can't thank him enough. I would recommend Allen to absolutely anyone. If there is a mortgage advisor that can help with a difficult case it is definitely him! I've said it hundreds of times but Thank you again, you have made our dreams a reality!

I can't recommend Joe at Wallace Home Finance enough. Despite 1 house sale falling through and further issues with the second, Joe was amazing throughout.

We contacted Colin on the recommendation of a colleague. Even before we had started house hunting he explained the process fully as this is our first home. Once we had found our house, he put the wheels into motion to find the best mortgage lender and life insurance policies available. He also arranged a solicitor who could liaise with him directly so we knew things would happen behind the scenes. During covid and lockdown, we werent able to meet in person but zoom meetings into the evenings and around our work schedules made life easy. Icing on the cake was the day we moved in, Colin appeared on our doorstep with a bottle of fizz. Such a lovely gesture and completely unexpected.
