I was referred through a friend and it was genuinely the best referral I could have had, Phill was great initially before I was assigned Yelda as my broker and she was incredible from day 1. Really prompt with replies, super friendly and efficient and made the entire process seamless.

Wouldn't recommend for first time mortgage. Advisor was good to begin with then communication got very poor- ended up telling us we were going to struggle to get a mortgage. Very stressful experience, and none of the process was explained. I went with a different broker and she got us a mortgage with a high-street lender with no issues.

While they were polite and everything, once I was passed on to the next stage, of actual mortgage advisor (as opposed to bloke that takes initial details) he just stopped calling. I texted a few times, but got no answer. Got in touch with first bloke. He apologized and said he'd follow it up. Then that was last I heard from him. But if a pointless exercise.

Prior to finding Trufe I sought the advice of a so called "free" mortgage advisor, however it quickly became apparent that whilst they say they are free they then may potentially advise you to consider a product which offers them the best financial return/reward. After speaking to a not so independant advisor I decided to research a few more mortgage advisors and it didn't take me long to see that "Trufe" are well respected with positive reviews overall. I therefore took the decision to move forward with their "paid for" advice. Rachel was allocated to my case and it has got to be said she went far beyond what I or anyone else would have expected. She remained in almost daily contact, updating me with the progress of the case as it progressed, she replied to every question via phone call/email/whatsapp within hours, often immediately and very importantly by working hard to find me the right product she literally saved me thousands of . So the fee Trufe charge for their services was in my opinion money very well spent. Trufe also offer an admin service so Rachel supported by Jade in the office are a force for any lender to be reckoned with!! I have since confidentally recommended Trufe and Rachel to friends who are considering seeking financial advice. It's a 10/10 from me.
