Barburrito

I love this place. Tasty food with enough ways to mix it up every now and again. Has vegan options and a loyalty card. They often have specials too. The place is a little small so can get quite full if you plan on eating in, a little on the dark side too. Would recommend giving it a go if you like Mexican style food. Vegetarian options: Has vegetable or plant based meat options.

Mid week slow service, but I expected that A rude delivery service rider who was served ahead of/left before me had the nerve to complain about how long it took! The staff were all professional and friendly as always Still my favourite place to eat! Kid-friendliness: Always friendly staff

I am writing this after trying this place for a takeaway for the first time. To sum it up first in a couple of words, it has potential, but it doesn't quite make it in the end. I had a Classic Bowl, the smaller one. The meat was definitely not enough, a big difference compared to other burrito places, and also it had not enough salt/seasoning. The rice, veggies and sauce were actually great, good flavour, texture, but barely having any meat hurts that a lot. The serving was slow for me, maybe it was just a one off, but the most annoying bit was that the container I got my food in while seeming to be closed tight, it wasn't, and it leaked through my bag because I wasn't inspired enough to ask for a bag just to be cautious, although it isn't something that happens to me with other takeaways I had. For me at least, the burrito could have been great, since the veggies and rice were indeed some of the best I had in a burrito (at least recently), but the lack of seasoning on the meat and the lack of some toppings, just made it feel like trying to save money. Is it an okay place to had a burrito? I think so. Can definitely be very nice for some. I just feel like it is ever so slightly overpriced (it would be more than great if there were more toppings next to the rice) and I will give it another go later down the line, but until then, will get my burritos somewhere else unfortunately.
