A very pleasant afternoon. The place is so beautiful and the restaurant is spotless and cozy. Staffs were also great! Kind and very helpful. Everything in the afternoon tea was delicious. The salmon sandwich and the quiche were my favorites. I definitely recommend going for an afternoon with friends, family or for a relaxed romantic date. I will definitely be back! The only thing that could improve in my opinion is the amount of cream and jam. It could be a pot for each person.

Smart setting with interesting booths, bar seating, etc. Nice selection of vegan tasties in the vegan afternoon cream tea (unfortunately no vegan cream ). Staff pleasant. Gratuity automatically added.

Thank you convive for a 3 course Sunday dinner for a party of 8. Gorgeous, fresh food, attentive staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, Ive had to rate the restaurant as poor due to a few reasons. The barman didnt make eye contact didnt say hello, and absolutely focused on doing his task before he would acknowledge me. A simple hi would suffice. The food was okay and a little overpriced. Waitress was very pleasant I was charged 3:30 for a pint of soda water, I travel extensively and this was the most Ive ever been charged for essentially fizzy water! Also the main reason for the poor rating was the service charge when presented with the bill. There was absolutely no mention of a service charge. Surely this underhand practice has been abolished by now. Ill always leave a tip if the serving is good. But Im amazed that companies think its okay to just add this. FYI - it just annoys customers, especially when you dont tell them.

Always have a pleasurable experience eating here. Food and service are top quality. As far as hotel restaurants go its very good.
