Massive Thankyou to all the staff and my surgeon for going through this journey with me and helping me regain my sight

The staff were very very lovely and welcoming in both Optimax buildings. The nurses and female staff were very informative and empathetic. The surgeon could've been a bit better. He was a wee bit cold which made me feel nervous but I can see that he just wants to crack on with it.
The operation itself was very short. There were 4 songs on the radio Adele, Michael Jackson and 2 others and adverts, and then I was done. This was one of the most terrifying experiences in my life so I was singing along to "Rock With You" to calm myself down as you have to be fully awake, have a contraption to keep your eyelids open and no sudden movements. I was able to see the scalpel and feel fiddling around my eye area with no pain. Absolutely terrifying. And I've had heart surgery - I was asleep for that.
Now I can see very clearly. I'm grateful to Optimax.
I'm just using eye drops for 2 weeks and I should be okay.
It tends to be costly, the worse your eyes are. I've got the eyeballs of a pensioner despite being 26, so it was pricey for me.
When I did my post surgery eyes check up, I went to the wrong Optimax, in Leeds instead of Manchester and they kindly fitted me in.
I tried to be honest as possible.
