        Training here as a child made for the most formative experiences, in my personal development as much as my karate practice. Joining Akashi is one of the best choices I've ever made. I've trained with quite a few instructors in Leeds, so I never take the teaching for granted. You will grow, you will be challenged. But in a good way! Glenn Sensei is what karate as a way of life looks like. "I see everything!" Mesmerising to watch, running to keep up, leading by example. It may be hard work, but if the love is there, it doesn't matter that it's a never ending road of self improvement. You get out what you put into your training.
