My son joined this club a 1yr ago after he tried other karate clubs. From 1st impressions this club was more focused and disciplined than others we had tried. Initial lessons were almost 1 to 1 with a senior instructor and really set him with the basics. From then on he joined the main class and worked with senior instructors within bigger groups, continuing to work on the basics and progressing to more difficult moves/ katas and at times sparing with other students in kumite. My son has loved it, mainly down to the exceptional level of instruction given by the leaders. My daughter has switched clubs and is now seeing improvements she never achieved with the other clubs. They both get great tuition for their individual level and need. My son has even been to competitions and we all have attended grading events through the year. Everyone is welcome and other students are great to train with from black belt to lower grades. It's an exceptional club and sport/ method of self defence and I can't recommend it enough. Classes in Roundhay and Oakwood.

Returned to Karate after a number of years off. LSKC made me feel welcome and helped me regain fitness. Im in my late fifties and definitely feel the health benefits of training with such a committed and inspirational collection of instructors and fellow students.

A brilliant club. Sensei Ryan Tucker has even introduced free online sessions during the lock down period so we can all still train. True dedication.
