        Me and my grandma got stuck in the lift for well over 30 minutes. It might sound small but I dread to think how horrific it must be for someone who 1. Is by themselves and doesnt have someone there to comfort them and 2. Doesnt have a mobile phone as the emergency service button wasnt working. Its disgraceful and for people who are experiencing onset dementia and that happen to them I dread to think how distressing that must be for them. I am only writing this so it gets sorted, so no one else has to deal with this. Its lucky that I had a mobile phone to call someone, otherwise I dread to think how someone without a means.to call for help would be able to get out. Please make sure this never happens again for the sake of your residents.
