Roomzzz Aparthotel Leeds City West

Location not brilliant, rooms a little dated but well equipped. I stayed here for three days on business in Leeds City Centre. Pros...the studios are well equipped, and slightly bigger than a standard hotel room. For a longer stay the kitchenette would be great. Rooms have their own immersion heater and tank, so good water pressure and hot water regulation. Price is budget too. Anyone we dealt with on reception was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Check in was quick and straightforward. Cons...I travelled with another female colleague and neither of us really enjoyed the walk to and from the hotel to the office, particularly in the evening. You can certainly get a cab or maybe bus? But this is a decent 15-20 min walk with a trolley bag. Rooms were a little dated, very much function over form. Shower is tiny. Light and fan in bathroom not working and other little bits were a bit wobbly. Someone had clearly smoked heavily in the room at some point, there was a prevailing smell and the curtains *really* smelt. Perhaps I'm noise sensitive but the comings and goings of others was audible, and the lift. I wouldn't 'not recommend' this hotel, but I'd consider location and what is most important to you during a stay. Noteworthy details: Check location and proximity.

What I love most about this hotel are the space (larger than normal hotel), in-room kitchen equipments and their grab and go breakfast. Totally recommended! 15-20 mins walks and 10 mins bus ride to the city. Worth the price.
