AKB Loft Conversions

Andy was great throughout the process, If there was any issues Andy was straight on it and went beyond on several occasions. He came with several types of bricks that would match the existing brickwork. He ended up sending one of his staff to the midlands to get the same type of brick. We changed the design of the bathroom, and this was not an issue. The AKB team modified the plan and end result was amazing. We needed a wall and old decking removing from the rear garden. Andy and his team removed all the old decking / soil and levelled out the ground and built a retaining wall. Services: Home extension services, Home addition construction

Our loft conversion was completed in 2022, and we couldn't be happier! Andy and his team were always friendly and incredibly helpful. They gave great advice when it came to deciding on the more intricate and complicated parts of the build - and would always take our budget and tastes into account. Andrew and his team completed a loft space for us this year, needing a couple of wall moves on the 2nd level to accomodate a good sized staircase. The new space is massive - Andrew made great suggestions. Really nice bathroom install and his tradespeople couldn't be more accomodating. Very positive experience all round.

So how do we feel about our new loft conversion from AKB? Well... we are absolutely made up with it! The quality, looks and extra space we've gained is just superb! We made the decision to go with AKB after seeing a neighbours loft conversion done by AKB and viewing the quality of work first hand and their experience I must say I'm very glad we made that decision. From the moment I met Andrew it just felt right and I've been very impressed with him and his whole team throughout the build. He has very decent set of skilled tradesmen working for him who came to work on time, were very pleasant to deal with and did a great job. Andrew is very much on the ball and won't let any shoddy work go through which I was pleased to see. Doing a large project like this is quite daunting and can be stressful but as AKB managed the whole build from the initial design, building control, and construction it all seemed to flow very well. We are really pleased with our hip to gable dormer conversion with ensuite bathroom which has totally transformed and greatly increased our living space in our house. All that's left to say is a big thank you to Andrew and his great set of lads for a cracking job well done! Cheers!

We love our renovations! AKB built our kitchen extension, helping us renovate our 1930s semi. The extension involved installation of some pretty big steels, velux windows, bricking up unwanted doors and windows, retinal of 2 chimneys and installation of pocket doors. Great work, great quality. This is our 2nd time working with AKB, no complaints about the finished product.
