After the experience I have received over the past 2 days I would not recommend. Bringing both parents home from Bulgaria one in 2017 and father in 2019 was a very difficult time. We paid 290 for an existing grave to be opened to lay him to rest but Due to the pandemic we were told the funeral could not go ahead ( the grave was left opened until we complained) Recently we rang Percy woods and talked to Mathew who told us there would be an additional charge of 33.00. I was a bit upset about the additional charges and expressed this to Mathew who replied I cant understand why you would not pay the 33 its in your best interest He then came to an agreement to refund the 290. I Rang Percy Woods again and Mathew continued to say he cant quite understand why we would not pay the extra 33. At this I got quite upset and asked him to repeat himself and he did, my husband was listening also at this point. I told him this was not his issue to question what we as a family have decided to do, then put an end to the conversation. Overall Mathew has caused me undue stress on two occasions is this really the actions of sympathetic / supportive business when dealing with a family who have lost both parents I think not ! The word BUSINESS WITH NO COMPASSION rings a bell.

An excellent funeral directors A place people are dieing to get into. Sorry couldn't resist. Maybe think about renaming? Considering the connotations of "Wood" and "Percy". Americanism get everywhere. But still it's an excellent place
