Dr G M Acton - City View Medical Practice

If it was possible to give this GP service 0 stars that is the score that they deserved. I have never once visited the service and been seen on time. I never had these issues when visiting shafton lane until city view took over the service. This is the most unorganised service ever. Its totally abysmal to be paying for this service every month in taxes and you can never leave on time.

Personally, I think this surgery deserves a lot more credit than it is given. I have been registered with them since 2010 and have always received excellent care, as have my family who are also registered here. Yes sometimes there are long queues on the phones, but this is not the surgery's fault and people need to remember that before they start slating the place. In all the time I have been registered here I have only come across one obnoxious receptionist, and I don't even think she works there anymore so I don't understand the other reviews which say all of the staff are rude. The NHS is struggling more now than it ever has before and in comparison to a lot of GP's in the country, City View are doing a great job.

It's been a difficult few years with treatment-Spoken with Ben a pharmacist who is managing my medications-No matter how much I shouted and expressed how challenging pain management was in the past eg pain clinic surgeons and a few bad doctors.Nothing worked-After speaking with Ben who is knowledgeable and understanding I now feel at ease and the new medication is helping alot better. Ben has and is working with me I feel more at ease and pain is more manageable. Staff always lovely and a good few doctors. Because of several bad experiences over many years I started hating the medical profession and found private treatment far better. We must put that behind and don't let it ruin the genuine good ones...

If i could rate this surgery less than 1 star I would. Absolutely ridiculous beyond belief. Horrible. You'll be dead before you get through to reception never mind an appointment

Giving 1 star is being nice, 148 attempts to get though in the space of 15mins is ridiculous,!
