        9 months ago, we applied for a grant for solar panels. It took BHY 2 months to arrange a survey. 2 months after the survey, I chased them up and they told us they needed to send a different company to do the survey again. They did the 2nd survey 3 months ago. We still haven't heard anything back. Calling their published number leaves you on perpetual hold. There appears to be no form of organisation or communication at this company.

        I contacted Better Homes Yorkshire -- they sent an assessor who investigated the loft and cavity walls. Spent 2hrs onsite - said there was no help available unless you claim benefits. They said that even though they can't assist me financially they would send my details to their contractors who would provide quotes for the work needed. We never heard from them again. What a waste of my time

        Didn't turn up for appointment so I lost time and money left messages and sent emails over two weeks ago and still no one has got back to me. Very disapointing very poor service not very professional.
