The Refectory was a must visit for me whilst in Leeds. Definitely a top 5 English brewery imo and their tap room experience lived up to expectations. Pop upstairs to order from their extensive tap list and back downstairs to enjoy an awesome outdoor space. Plenty of beers available to-go. On a sunny day, a wonderful space to sit and sip brews. Friendly staff.

A fantastic pilgrimage to a fave brewery, all the way from Scotland. Callum gave a great tour and made sure we had a good time. Food was exceptional. Beer was tremendous. Lost a star for serving a tomahawk steak with plastic cutlery though! Knife snapped trying to cut it, and fork prongs pinging everywhere

Easily my favourite craft beer place in Leeds. Has a more intimate feel than other breweries, who have more of a high bay industrial unit approach. They always have a great cross section of styles, and are happy to offer samples. On our last visit we also had some food which was also excellent, and prices were reasonable.
