I went into the Commercial Street Branch to get some assistance and was told that I couldn't be helped in Branch (it was simply to get an up-to-Date Redemption Statement so that I could pay off my Mortgage) so had to call their Customer Service Team. Unsurprisingly I called the Customer Service Center and got it done in 5Mins which is a sad state of affairs as previously Branch Staff have been empowered / genuinely happy to assist Customers but these Days we have to put up with Service like this. It's how / why Lloyds Banking Group are getting away with axing roles at breakneck speed.

Waited one month to get an appointment. At the time of appointment, their system was down apparently. The banking consultant went on to tell they will make another appointment at the earliest. She did not even bother to call back. Tried calling the number on her visiting card, no response. Appalling service really.

Very bad service, the manager may discriminate against Asian women, a male manager kept me waiting for 2 hours while serving others. I talked to him and pretended not to hear. Didn't give me any help, shame on the UK service industry.

I visited Halifax bank on commercial street today and was assisted by Fernando he was so wise, kind and so professional I was amazed by his help and service. I am always so nervous and panicking when in public, I was passing trough and he helped me. Amazing service!!
