From the very first encounter to job completion, David presented as friendly, professional and knowledgeable in his trade. All my questions were answered and, without prompting, David made proof of liability insurance available to me for extra peace of mind, as well as assurance Tree Protection Order and Conservation Area checks were his standard practice before carrying out any work. The job itself was carried out to a high standard, with removal of all offings and the area cleaned of loose debris. One of the trees was found to contain a nesting pair of pigeons, so that particular job was quite rightly halted, and David offered to return in 4-weeks to proceed on the condition they'd matured enough to leave the nest -- spot on! He also did not charge me for this part of the job since it was pending completion. I would highly recommend using The Hedge Wizard to anyone looking to get a fair quote for a job well done.

David came to look at a job promptly after I contacted him asking for a quote to maintain a large tree in my garden. I have limited knowledge and didn't know what kind of figure to expect, but David advised the opposite - he was genuinely interested in preserving a healthy tree and didn't want to take my money for the sake of it. He is friendly, very knowledgeable and most importantly - gives you the right advice. A true wizard! Fully recommend.
