A place that looks after people who can't look after themselves all day. Possibly to give family members a break. Although I may be completely wrong

My husband is newly diagnosed with young onset dementia, so we are relatively new to the centre. I personally find the staff very friendly; understanding and their advice extremely helpful. I also find meeting other carers and those they care for a positive experience. Learning how others manage the care they give helps me to manage the care I then give to my husband. Also, knowing you are not on your own with this does help. I would certainly recommend this service should I ever hear of others going through similar circumstances to the both of us.
