Had a fantastic Afghan wood carving workshop today. Hugh is great! Very warm and welcoming which made me feel at ease, will be going to more sessions.

We are really chuffed with our new church noticeboard and have received so many compliments from local people since it's gone up. The design has smartened up the front of the church site, while still being in keeping with the wooded feel of the church grounds. It's also given us the opportunity to showcase activities run here at St James' in a way that can be updated as the church evolves. The process of designing the noticeboard involved much consultation and discussion. Hugh was incredibly patient and thorough, ensuring that we were 100% happy with every aspect of the design before going ahead. He also went to great lengths to source materials that would stand the test of time while not going over budget. We're very grateful for his efforts and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hugh for one-off bespoke projects like this, where it feels particularly important to get it right.
