Lewisham Medical Centre

This is one of the worst GP's in all of London they offer me an appointment in person then proceed to tell me they're unsure whether or not I'll take a single appointment or a double appointment for the dressing instead of asking a person who can tell them like one of the GPS they send me to Bromley beacon which is 47 minutes away when I just needed a dressing I honestly can't believe the service. Basically they said they were to busy but thought it d be a good idea to send me to a place that's actually busier don't bother with this GP go somewhere else there's one around the corner from the Sainsbury's try them honestly any GP is better than this one. If I could leave a zero star review I would.

This place is horrible. After many sleepless nights I began to feel and realise how unheard I feel with this place. The amount of things I mention that just go unnoticed & im being told I have to book SEPARATE appointments for minor things (prescriptions etc.) that could be dealt with on the spot? And to then be gaslit into believing I am not that ill - As if i dont wait weeks on end for a simple appointment. I am so sad to have to write reviews like this because I am really not that type of person. But Ill be switching my GP as this cant continue. I might end up dying before being dealt with properly. Horrible. Stay far.

Once you have an appointment the health staff are competent and caring. However, in order to get an appointment you need to wait for 20 minutes on the phone as they triage every call. This morning the phone line didnt open until 8.10. My three year old son needed a check up today due to symptoms he reported the night before but I was told to wait for a phone call from the paramedic until 1pm who then might decide to send us to hospital after all. I feel a little uneasy about how vague this arrangement is. On the one hand I understand that the staff are doing their best and it is a highly stressful job (for health and admin staff) but at the same time its important to rectify a system that is clearly not satisfactory.

Awful practice. Had to complain after they messed with my prescription last year. They didnt have my medical records even after six months (I have long term health problems) and no one seemed to care. 4 week wait for phone appointments and I couldnt even book a face to face appointment. I was told to call back in two weeks even though I was having problems walking. They could only refer me to a service where there is a few months wait for an initial appointment. I have now changed to a different GP thankfully and was able to get a face to face appointment within a few days. Please dont reply defending the surgery, the level of care is extremely poor and harmful and I dont care to hear what you have to say.

Unfortunately I cannot say noth good about this place. After nearly 10 years with them there is no even one small point where I would like to stay with them longer. Always 30-40min wait by the phone and after connection to the reception information that I need to call them after a 2-3weeks because they have no any free slot for appointment.?!!!! I am going to my app and booked something for 19.04! What is that?!?! Think double if you planning to join them! I am starting to check something around me to change them for a bit better service. One star only because I cannot give them less than that.
