Horrible service! Closing for 1hour and 15 minutes over lunch which is basically the only time people can leave work to get to the post office. Unacceptable excuse of Royal Mail service.

The woman who served me (dark hair) was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I think she was upset that I interrupted her chatting session with her colleague. I bought a first class stamp, put it on the birthday card and she said she would post it priority mail. That was 14 April. Its now 20 April and my Mum still hasnt received it. Im wondering whether it ended up in her trash can. Some people just should not be working in customer services.

Wish I could give less stars; maybe a half or a quarter? Absolutely dreadful. Package turned up with nothing in it. I've tried calling every number on the post office website to no avail; I am simply met with an automated voice which tells me to call a different number and, intern, that number suggests I phone another. No reference number on my receipt to track the item despite having specifically asked for my item to be tracked. I expect that's the last me or my friend will ever see of the items I went out of my way to purchase and send. This bothers me of course; what bothers me even more however, is that I don't expect anyone will ever be held accountable despite the post office failing to do the one thing it is supposed to do.post I should stress, the staff in my local branch are perfectly friendly and seem perfectly efficient. The company, however, which they work for are just beyond useless.
