This is a superb family run business. I have used them for years for sweeping the chimney and you couldn't tell that Richard had been because he is so tidy- but the clean fireplace and paperwork gave it away. Recently I had a wood burning stove installed and thought to ask Richard and Jo if they could help. And they did! Jo did lots of research for me and helped me find a refurbished stove which was an excellent value. Richard and team arrived on the scheduled day and by the afternoon the wood burning stove was installed and the room was even tidier than before they started. I can't recommend them highly enough. We had our Chimney Swept just before Christmas by Jo and then yesterday we had a new log burner installed by Richard from Peacock Chimney Services. We were so impressed on both occasions. They are a professional local company, providing an excellent service. They are really efficient, friendly and warm (excuse the pun). Highly recommended. Firstly Jo came to sweep our chimney (brilliantly)and discovered our flu liner was badly damaged. We went back to the original installer who didn't want to know so Jo's husband Richard came to our rescue and installed a new flu liner, checked everything was working properly and we are thrilled. My first visit from Jo who made a superb job of cleaning our chimney and also can provide technical support for our stoves and install new ones if we need. I also want to commend Tracey in the office that made a great job of booking in our service, keeping us informed and letting us know precisely when Jo would be arriving.
