Martin Whitehorne acted as our solicitor for a sale and purchase. He dealt with the sale of our leasehold flat within 16 weeks. Martin also dealt with a complex purchase of a new build property on our behalf. At all times he represented our interest, pushing for clear information and ensuring we would move into the house on our terms and that the property represented appropriate financial and habitual security. Across both these cases, Martin showed an excellent understanding of the legal process and ran rings around the sellers solicitor who obviously didnt have our best interest at heart. Further to us instructing Julie West Solicitors in our sale and purchase, we also instructed Emma Westsmith to draw up our wills and deed of trust. This was done sensitively and in line with our wishes, with Emma also highlighting an optimal format for the deed of trust. Overall, beyond our instructed solicitors, the office team at JWS are also friendly and informative, doing their best to answer enquiries and transfer you through to the relevant solicitor when appropriate. The temptation when buying a house seems to be to commission conveyancing as an afterthought. Our house purchase and sale are some of the biggest financial transactions we will undertake. Id advise anyone doing the same to instruct quality solicitors to ensure their interests are protected. The team at Julie West fit the bill and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them or instruct them again.

My experience of this firm over the last year and more was not good. I am not going into details for obvious reasons, but my own advice would be steer clear, and go elsewhere.

This is an excellent well established small firm of Solicitors based in Leatherhead Surrrey UK. My experience with this firm has been in respect of Property Matters which have been handled Knowledgeably, Professionally and efficiently by Celia Perry a Partner in the firm. My recommendation is unqualified.

Celia and the team were very helpful, efficient and speedy in dealing with our work. Whilst perhaps a little pricy, the old adage about getting what you pay for does ring true. Very professional and highly recommended.
