Parents are snobby. There is a treatment divide between the wealthy and not wealthy families. Wealthy children can go on holiday, bully others and be in top sets for everything in school whereas the less wealthy children are penalised for everything, each holiday or day off is recognised and reported, bullying of less wealthy children is ignored but if they are bullying wealthy children it doesnt. And finally the less wealthy children are placed in lower sets and given less learning time. Dont send your child here unless you can afford to pay off the school so your child is treated well.
