Well presented . As the name suggests it's about Cranwell. JP mk4 in courtyard and a 2 seat Vampire nacelle inside, plus a couple of engines. Enthusiastic guides. Just the right size museum for those with a casual aviation interest. Worth a visit.

We visited the aviation centre today with my 5 year old son. The staff were very welcoming and full of knowledge. Although it is small it is full of interesting facts and things to see. There is also drinks available and the gift shop has got some lovely souvenirs. We will definitely return in the future.

I decided to pop in as Ive seen the signpost on a regular trip between Norfolk and Worksop. It is a small well-maintained museum related to the nearby RAF Cranwell College. Im glad I did. I could only spend 45 min, but learnt a lot about the history of the college and some of its famous alumni. There is a small refreshment area and a great outdoor courtyard with a Jet Provost to study. The museum curator was really friendly and helpful. I decided to make a donation as it is - unbelievably - free
