Our cat Buck enjoyed a great stay at the cattery while we were away. He has been having a few health issues recently and is on medication but after a spell at Calcutt he came back to us looking/behaving much more like his old self.

Being an anxious first time cattery user and feeling like I was abandoning my fur kids whilst I selfishly went away to enjoy myself without them, the staff at Calcutt Cattery put me at ease straight away. On my initial visit, all of the cats were relaxed and keen to have a fuss at the front of the runs, the pens were also clean, warm and secure with a view of a large aviary. The menu available was HUGE so do not worry if your cat is a picky eater.....they won't be! Plenty of snacks in-between meals too because we all come back from holiday heavier than we went.....your cats will do too! Pictures on Facebook keep you well informed if as an owner, you will, suffer from separation anxiety. Don't worry about your babies....they will have a great and a very safe time so you can relax and not worry about the neighbours forgetting to feed them or let them out unsupervised by mistake. In my experience, asking friends to help is great and cheap but will always leave you with that nagging concern. You have paid a lot of money to go away....remove that concern and pay just a tiny fraction more to ensure your precious ones are safe, well and looked after better than you will be.

We left our kittens basil and nutty here, prior to them arriving we had a situation with Nutty just coming out of surgery and she required a little bit more care due to her stitches, we couldnt of found a more loving cattery that show passion and care towards there business and the furry guests that stay with them, a little bit out in the sticks but the distance is irrelevant with other factors considered. We will not be going elsewhere for the care of our cats. 10/10

Brilliant cattery! Our Lilly stayed over the Christmas holidays and came back to us very happy and full of energy! She has been very well looked after. We will be using Calcutt Cattery again!
