        Our daughters thrive at Clapton Girls and it is a unique place in Hackney in the sense that they believe in clear rules, confidence and academic excellence (and yes, a bit of fun) that develops from within. Staff is caring and approachable and the intake extremely diverse. They promote both pure academic & more vocational education and respect political awareness & tolerance. The school communicates extremely effectively, both generally and individually. Lock down has been an extremely challenging and frustrating time for young people and online teaching is never ideal, but Clapton tried hard and was just as concerned about their students' mental health as about the girls' academic advancement. We love the school and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
