The best school you could attend. The tutors are all in the industry so their teaching and industry knowledge is invaluable. The course covers so many different aspects of the industry & gives you many job opportunities during and after the course. I really enjoyed the 3 months I studied at The LSMM & I highly reccomend it.

The LSMM must have been a dream come true not only for me but most probably for all of my course mates too. We have just completed our 3 month diploma in media makeup and I have not doubted this school even once. All tutors were incredibly talented, very much up to date, industry-active individuals that not only shared they knowledge with us but also experiences they have gained over the years working in fashion, TV, film, theatre, prothetic workshops, creating special effect makeup and props for all sorts and really inside and out the industry. This course was such a fresh breath of air living in such digitalised reality and also a 100% solid prep for the industry. It is absolutely amazing, there are no better school out there than the LSMM to kick off your career in Media Makeup!

This course really did kickstart my makeup career, the addition of this school having its own agency means that the work opportunities are regular which adds a great comfort when going into a freelance creative career. The job opportunities are also very varied and include assisting work on larger projects, fashion shoot and shows, music videos, ecomm, advertising, short films and feature films. The school has great connections with brands, producers, photographers, directors and film and art school which is great for networking and contacts for the students. In the year after finishing the course and going freelance I have assisted on jobs for Vogue, i-D magazine and London and Paris Fashion week shows as well as doing my own magazine shoots, leading makeup teams for fashion shows, designing makeup (including special fx makeup) for music videos and short films. Doing this course was the best decision I ever made and I'm so thankful for all the amazing tutors and staff who have continued to support my career even after the course. The tutors are all current working professionals so their knowledge, skills and contacts are all relevant and up to date which again is very valuable.

If you are going to choose any make-up school, this is the one to go for! I debated for a long time between various other courses and I am so pleased I decided on this one! The three month course gives you all the knowledge and information you need to go into any job in the industry with confidence that you can do it. You do work experience with the school's agency during and after the course in different sectors of the industry which is great as you can see which area you're the most interested in. You are given a working hair and make-up kit which you will use throughout the course and to keep afterwards to take with you on jobs. The tutors were amazing and very much active and working within the industry, which was great when it came to product knowledge and showing us different tips and tricks that they used themselves. Livi and Becca really help you to settle in and you can ask them for advice on anything during and after the course. You will make such great friends with the other students on the course, especially as class sizes are kept small so you get 1:1 time with tutors throughout the weeks. I have had the best time! I can't recommend it enough!
