        Disappointed with our visit yesterday. We've visited multiple times and had great experiences so we were looking forward to our trip. We arrived at the visitor center ready to fuel up at the cafe but the rules had changed that day, with no notice seen on social media to advise of the changes, that meant dogs are no longer welcome in the visitor center. It wasn't communicated well by staff unfortunately, and means we won't be able to visit the center in future. It's never been an issue before and we were so disappointed. This ruined our planned trip as we were looking forward to a cuppa and cake on the deck before our walk along the public footpaths near the reserve

        Our 4 year old enjoyed the Easter egg trail and loved the pond dipping. Good playground. Nice cafe - clean with huge windows overlooking the reservoir. Will definitely be returning.
