What a fabulous find! The rooms were a warm and cosy haven from the rain, staff were friendly and attentive. Travelling as a solo lady, I couldn't have felt any safer. Food & drinks: Amazing food - hot, fresh and mouthwatering. The staff were right, the sticky toffee pudding is to die for!

A beautiful old, thatched pub with so much authentic charm and character. Great for just a drink by the fire in the Settle or a 3 course meal. Lovely garden with pizzas in the Summer too. Always a good selection of well kept ales in the tap room and the food is excellent. Staff are very helpful and accommodating and everything is very good value for money. Some good dog walks around Laxfield too. One of our favourite Suffolk pubs
