Stayed here from 19th till 26th September 2020, beautiful place to stay. So cozy, very clean, owners live next door, lovely lady Belinda met us on arrival, showed us inside and where everything was and how it all worked. Never bothered us again all week but we knew if we needed her for anything we could count on her help. She even left tea and nice cornish biscuits for us to refresh ourselves after a long journey down from Liverpool. Was great sitting outside in the garden having the tea and biscuits, was a lovely sunny evening, the views are breathtaking, rolling hills for miles. Bliss. We visited a few places during the week but loved the idea we could just stay at the cottage and relax. A great tip for stocking up on groceries and such like is to take a short 10 minute trip back over the border in to Devon to visit strawberry fields farmers market and cafe/restaurant. Amazing food choice, meats so delicious you will go back, never used the cafe but by the amount of people using it, it must be good. Outside eating area too. Before we left for home we stocked up on groceries from strawberry fields to take home with us. If you don't want to shop there, Launceston about 15 minutes drive as lots of bigger shops to cater for your needs, Tesco, Lidl, McDonald's plus lots more including a independent butchers, fish'n'chips shop and lots more besides. Pubs too. In short, loved our stay at carzantic Chapel Barn cottage, our two German shepherd's loved the big garden, they were made up running around playing with their toys. Sadly the week went so quickly and I wish we were back there still. Vinny, Vicki, Chris and doggies Cassie and Bella. :-) :-) :-) 10 out of 10. No negatives.
