        I worked here in the early 80s (was my first job) and just called in for a drink and to show a friend some of the WW2 historical bits. Sad place really no atmosphere or ambience the bar lass didn't engage in conversation just hassled us to buy drinks half way through what we had, (no Greene King beer at the bar which I would expect being the largest local brewery) none of the staff engaged, just seemed clinical. I guess a manager was acting as a doorman/bouncer checking on the clientele, again without any engagement.
