Well here I am; another very happy client following my visit to the Market Street Podiatry Centre! The entire experience has been very positive from my very first contact when I made an enquiry about my ingrowing big toe nails. On my first visit, as I settled in the waiting room, Ian popped his friendly face around the door to greet me and let me know I would not have long to wait. A good start I thought as it makes a client feel they are acknowledged and valued straight away. (In subsequent visits I discovered that somebody will always greet you, so it wasn't just Ian being kind on a good day)! My journey through what was a new experience for me continued extremely well when I was taken through into the treatment area and met Siobhan and Rachel. Both were so friendly and welcoming and, after examining my feet, Siobhan discussed with me my treatment options and the costs for the partial removal of each of my ingrowing nails in a very professional and caring way. I chose to have the surgery and made my appointment to have both nails operated on on the same visit and to return the next day to have the dressings changed. Easy! Later I thought of all the questions I hadn't asked concerning what would and would not be sensible to do to help the healing. I was going to dig a pond; silly of me not to consider at the time that could be a problem following toe surgery! I phoned to get further advice and Siobhan, bless her, was so patient and kind explaining again what I could expect following the surgery. It would have taken yet more of her time when she had already come to the end of what was a very busy day for her. There was absolutely no hint of impatience or exasperation at having to go through it again and yet no doubt she was tired. The actual surgery was brilliantly performed and could not have been done in a more caring, relaxed and professional way. I was a bit anxious and so talk a lot at such times. Rachel kept my mind busy with cheerful conversation and Siobhan joined in when not concentrating on the crucial bits of my toes. I came away thinking that, on the whole, it was rather good fun. Now you cannot normally say that following surgery! Aftercare has been of the same very high standard. I am so glad I found this wonderful team. I have been visiting Market Street Clinic for the last 18 months receiving the Swift treatment and finally all my feet problems are sorted after many many years struggling to find anyone to help! The team are very helpful and friendly and instantly put me at ease the first time I visited!! I would highly recommend visiting this clinic as they will tailor a plan to suit your needs and are very knowledgeable. Thank you to all the team who have helped me over the last 18 months I will miss visiting you guys!!

What a great team! My treatment to have a toe nail removed was caring and professional from start to finish. Everybody was very friendly and my treatment options were fully explained. The treatment itself was painless and the after care was excellent. It was worth travelling a considerable distance to receive such great care. I would thoroughly recommend the Market Street Clinic

Great quality service and caring staff. They moved appointments around to help accommodate seeing me sooner, and provided an expert service. They solved my issue as well as giving me advice for avoiding a repeat in the future. Highly recommend.

I had an unsightly case of fungal nail infection in my big toenail, I had tried all the home remedies to cure it, but nothing had worked. I needed to find a podiatrist that was open on a Saturday, as I work Monday to Friday; and one that could cure the problem. I came across Market Street Clinic in Launceston and read up on their Lunula Laser treatment. I attended an appointment with Siobhan, she worked on my toenail and explained the treatment plan for me. The laser treatment can tingle but it does not hurt; and I found it had a warming sensation. Anyway ... long story shorter ... it has worked really well. I now have new, clear of infection nail growth and I am really pleased. I am going to continue to see Siobhan on a regular basis to make sure it stays that way.
