        I went into the Launceston branch of Santander with a crisp 10 note from their cash machine. I waited nearly 10 minutes whilst the one customer was served by 2 members of staff. The second member of staff then decided to open her cashier and I approached. I asked for 10 pound coins in change. The officious member of staff said she could not change my 10 into coins as I could be money laundering. She would not budge so I left with my crisp 10 note and went to Halifax across the square who duly changed it without issue - they didn't even ask if I banked with them. Where is the customer service Santander? Not in your bank for sure.
