What an amazing little shop. They have everything and the prices are amazing and I feel great about recycling my own containers. Staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I'll be refilling everything from now on.

Items are generally more expensive than other supermarkets (some significantly so) with, so far as I can tell, no discernible increase in quality. Item selection is quite basic which is fair enough since its a small shop. I think I got unlucky when I went because I bought the sushi rice and it tasted odd it seemed to actually be brown sticky rice and didnt cook or stick well as standard Asian brands like Arirang etc. Regarding the prices, I can empathise as to why it may need to be a bit more expensive, and its a great concept in theory, but I have to say Im unmotivated to pay more for the same standard of dried goods you can get anywhere. But that is a personal preference and if you want to reduce your plastic use, then this is the way to do it. I will say that if price is your main concern, you can just by the items sold here in bulk (I.e. 5kg bags of rice or pasta) for a significantly cheaper cost.

Great selection of products and Jade always gets in new stock. Reasonably priced as well which always helps.
