Wiccaweys Rescued Border Collies

We have just adopted a Romanian rescue dog from Wiccaweys with as bad a back story as they come: Kept on a short chain, run over by a car then beaten, leaving him with permanent physical damage and, so we thought, many behavioural issues for years. How this dog progressed in just a week is nothing short of a miracle and that is largely down to the love and dedication the Wiccaweys staff invested. They were very open what to expect with a detailed health and behavioural plan and knew this dog inside out (having been with him nigh on 2 years, twice returned). We will stay in touch and support Wiccaweys for years to come as the work they do is admirable.

We adopted our fantastic new friend Sparrow from Wiccaweys just over a month ago. We had been visiting for almost 6 months as we needed to find a dog with just the right temperament to share a home with our 8 year old Collie. We were supported with this by all the staff, who were always honest and very clear about the personalities of the dog's that we met and very accomodating with the visits. We found them all to be very knowledgeable about the breed and their love for all the dogs and drive to do their very best for them shone through . A very well run, friendly and professional rescue that we would highly recommend.

I attended the centre to do some work on site and found the staff to be excellent. Very professional, well informed and polite.

Such an amazing rescue centre. Communication is great, always there to answer any questions. Very professional and we could tell how much they loved and cared for all the dogs at the centre. Would highly recommend
