        Spent Christmas and the New Year 2020 at Swallow barn and what a wonderful venue it was. We were hoping for a good family get together back in the UK and Swallow Barn did not disappoint in providing us with a well laid out house with plenty of space for everyone. Everyone being a total of 9 covering 3 generations all from Australia and we had a Christmas lunch to remember along with many happy nights in Monyash, cycling and walking and generally enjoying the cold weather. The owner simply could not do enough for us and we were made very welcome and she arranged a mid stay clean which was great. Cannot fault Swallow Barn it fitted our needs perfectly, the local pub was cosy and served excellent meals and the location is not far from anywhere in this lovely corner of Derbyshire. We will return
