Ive been with this practice all my life and its never been great. Recently its taken a turn for the worse. The head receptionist has taken away the function to make appointments online to cater for people without the internet. Thats like saying because some people cant afford nice things, no one is allowed to have nice things. This an unbelievably stupid and backward-thinking thing to do. It means that when working people want to make appointments, they have to call either when they're supposed to be working or during their rare free time. On the rare occasions that I do get through on the phone, the receptionists are cold and surly. They demand to know what I want to see the nurse about. Until recently there were certain tests I didnt go for, as directed by the GP here. One receptionist casually asked me why this was. I said I wasnt prepared to go into this over the phone (with a total stranger, I might add). Its good that Dr Ansari finally retired but the reception staff could really use some lessons in customer service.

I have been with this practice for long time and I have never been over the moon with it. Sometimes I have been lucky to be visited by a fantastic doctor. She has always been amazing and was the only reason why I stayed with this practice for so long. But I cant ask for appointments with her unfortunately. My last experience was a catastrophe and finally I have decided to apply to another GP. I spoke with the kind nurse over the phone and told her that I have three minors issues to look at. She booked me an appointment at 9.30 on the morning a few days later. I was assigned dr. S Reiss. I was there at 9.29am and the doctor arrived at 9.42am (I noticed that he didnt even say good morning to his colleague at the desk). He called me in at 9.46am and insisted that we discussed only one issue out of the three and that I had to book other appointments to discuss the rest of the issues. I managed to ask about two before to be kicked out of his office at 9.49am. I politely insisted that I have been in there for 2 minutes so I couldnt understand why I I couldnt ask for another thing. I told him that I live a bit far now and it was going to be an issue for me to come back the same week. He told me that he will happily see me again if Id booked another appointment. Guess what, I hope I never see him again. When I complained at the desk, the nurse said: what? You have been in there 3 minutes! I am so sorry about him She knew, apologized about him, saying that hes a cover doctor and hes not there all the times but there was nothing that she could do except to book another appointment for me in 4 days time. I told her to dont worry, wished her a good day and stopped in the first coffee shop to apply to another GP. I am still shocked by the experience.

Will be moving from this practice. Receptionists are horrible. Nurse laughs at your problems and doctors refuse to see you face to face. Waste of time. If you want to live don't register here.
