    Just incompetent. Everything in the order was wrong. The rot is always at the upper layers of 'management'. The arrogance of this lot is something to behold, but not revisit.

    Ordered a Autum Truffle on Sunday before the Queens Funeral its was 9.95 for next day delivery! However understandably wouldn't be delivered due to the Queens day. No problem, I expected it the next day! However never arrived. So contacted customer service and was told by the Owner "We are a Family Business and we are not Amazon!!!" They only get stock on Wednesdays so don't bother purchasing until then. Now when purcashing Fine food I wouldn't expect Amazon to come close.. infact nobody would. What I would expect is a bit of class from such suppliers which clearly they lack! The product itself was well packaged and looked and smelt fresh. However due to the Sarcasm I will Not use this outfit again! In hindsight I should have read the reviews first as they speak volumes...

    After ordering with a collection option, I called to make sure someone would be there and the ordered be ready and when I came to pick it up they told me that they were out of the items I ordered. Disgraceful customer service, waste of time

    I have placed an order for multiple items for a gift. I have ordered small tin of caviar, blinis, foie gras and potted Stilton. Package arrived timely and well packed. Unfortunately I was delivered slice of stilton of different brand. I have promptly contacted London Fine Foods to resolve problem. After initial conversation on the phone what felt like a filing a crime report when I had to give my details all over again despite having order number. I was told I will be called by someone soon. I asked to be contacted via email as I was busy at work with patients. Despite that in 5 minutes someone called me. I managed to pick up this call and again explained the issue. I was told then someone will call me soon again. In few minutes time I was called again but this time I was not able to pick up the phone. Soon after I was sent an email stating that their record shows that parcel was delivered and asking again whats the issue ( 3rd time !!! ). I have replied to the email explaining the issue again and asked to be contacted by email as I can not speak on the phone whilst being at work. Few hours later I was sent a reply stating that company could not source product I have ordered as its a seasonal item ( strangely widely available from other online suppliers ) and company decided to substitute it as well as they could and suggested partial refund ( no mention of proposed refund amount however). I have replied that as much as I can understand supply issue, substituting an item with one that is worth 3 times less than ordered one, not discussing substitution with a client and then invoicing client for an original product is rather unacceptable. Minutes later my phone was ringing again despite my clear wish not to be contacted by phone. I could not answer it again. No further email communication occured. I have now requested refund in full via PayPal. I found whole experience as far from fine service as it can be. In fact I think that their conduct is close to a fraud. Customer service is really poor with clearly no communication between members of staff and full disregard for client preferred form of communication which was very annoying.
