Good coffee but no sweetners available, offered brown sugar or honey. Food was tasty. I had avocado on toast with an extra of scrambled eggs. Generous portion of avocado but very small portion of eggs which was disappointing. Came to 16.55 including the coffee. Expensive considering the portion size of the scrambled eggs. Bizarrely small knife and fork, child sized! Pepper grinders would be nicer than the pre-ground powder stuff. Baffling rude waitress (maybe the kitchen assistant) who slammed the toilet door shut and made some kind of comment about it as I had left the door open a few inches. I needed to pop back to the table get my bag and go immediately back in again. The door had been left open previously so really not sure what her problem was. Other staff were very pleasant.

I went in today to work for a couple of hours and had a coffee and took away an almond croissant to go. The cafe was lovely, light, spacious, great service - and when I say it turned out to be the BEST almond croissant I have ever had I am not exaggerating. Not sure how they do it but I will be going back for that - thank you so much for a lovely morning!

Coffee shops have long been an integral part of my life - a place where I can work, eat, caffinate, and feel a part of a local community. CafeBar166 excels out of the coffeeshops that define my working experience. I'm a local, and now I truly feel it, thanks to the wonderful sense of community CafeBar166 fosters. But most of you reading this probably just want to know "is the food good at a reasonable price with good enough atmosphere", to which my answer is the food is delicious (tuna melt with extra jalepenos is my kryptonite), the drinks are reasonably priced (you'd pay the same in Costa, but instead you're supporting a thoughtful, local business), and the atmosphere is unparalled. Great music, green light filtered through plants, and paintings from members of the community adorn the walls. What else is there to love? Visit CafeBar166, and be a part of the family as soon as you walk in the door :)

Cracking little coffee shop, a little jewel in Battersea. Truly outstanding toasted sandwiches, particularly pastrami, or Tuna. Delicious coffee and local art
