Not worth a single penny living here Deliberate disgusting music in working area all the time to make residents to stay in their tiny rooms and away from workarea and make work area look empty for new tenants viewing

If you're thinking about or considering living in Uncle Stockwell, here's what it's like from someone who is currently living there: - Washing machines: you pay per wash and prices will increase anytime, and you can't do anything about it. When I first moved in, I was told it was 4 per wash now it's 6.5. Unless you plan on washing your clothes once a month, be prepared to pay over 20 just to wash your clothes and then buy a drying rack to air dry your clothes. The dryers are free but your clothes will come out as wet as they were when took them out of the washing machine. - You will be told council tax will be around 80-90 if you're a single person but if you move anytime after June (middle or end of the financial year) you will be paying 150 per month (or higher) for council tax and that's with the singe person discount. - The internet, water and electricity providers that you're forced into accepting as suppliers are really bad options. You have no control over the payment method (forced to set up a direct debit) and you can't change them. The water provider doesn't allow you to have an online account so you're in the dark about it until they send you a letter in the mail. In all fairness the people who work at Uncle Stockwell are great and all maintenance requests are handled and resolved really quickly. But I wish that all the money that we pay (which is a lot) went into contracting better suppliers for utilities and laundry facilities (ones that don't have residents bleeding money while their tenancy is locked for an entire year).

Close to central and the South East London area. But be careful with the parking enforcement. Those guys are ruthless.

A decent block of affordable studio flats for young professionals and higher education students. Managers are friendly and helpful and the convenience of having most bills included was great. Downside was having to share paying washing machines.
