I thought online shopping was supposed to be simple and easy, not the case here.
After purchasing 6 x towels I get an email saying their inventory is incorrect and they only have 4. I am offered unsuitable alternatives, there is back and forth, and then oh we found them after all. Unnecessary stress. Then they send my parcel to THE WRONG ADDRESS! The DPD delivery photo showed a complete stranger had received my parcel. Of course I feared that he might keep it/not answer the door etc. I had to go this strangers house to try and find my parcel. Not happy. Luckily, he refused it. I emailed and the response made no acknowledgement of their mistake, instead a kind of toxic apology that I hadnt received it the way I had requested (to collect from a shop.) I finally received them (well packaged, items as expected) but not without a lot of back and forth, which if things had been done correctly in the first place wouldnt have been needed. For all the unnecessary stress, this rates as my worst online shopping experience ever, and that is down to the incompetence of the staff.
