This was my 4th stay here and it never disappoints, always such a good atmosphere and the food is incredible! Already planning to come back again. Rooms: Stayed in different room here and never been disappointed.

Came here on a Friday evening for dinner and everything was brilliant! The service was great, very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was warm and cosy and the food was superb. We had the scallops from the specials menu and they were delightful and cooked perfectly, the chef kindly prepared the risotto from the main menu as a starter portion and it was delicious and full of flavour. For mains we had the glazed gammon and fillet of beef and both were amazing, everything on the plate was cooked to perfection and all of the ingredients complimented one another. The wine was also beautiful and a good selection to choose from. I have to say this is one of the best meals I have had lately and I cant wait to rush back! A beautiful country pub with fantastic food and friendly service
