Fabulous Sunday roast. Made with local ingredients and cooked to perfection. The pork was delightful. Service was excellent too. All in all the perfect Sunday lunch. Delicious!!

Superb pub. We stopped here for a drink mid afternoon during our walk, ended up staying to have dinner. Lovely place.

The food and the service were incredible. Me and my partner have spent our last 2 anniversaries there.

Staff friendly. It felt understaffed, with Only 3-4 tables in, it took a lot longer than expected to get served. 1hr 10 to get starters. Food ok. Not great. I had crab starter which included grapefruit segments which completely over powered the crab. One meal was very over cooked and had to be replaced. No discount offered, which we thought it should have been. The Chateau Briand was disappointing, mine was barely warm and the portion size not great for 2 people. Steak was not as good as I've eaten before elsewhere. Portion of chips very small, can't cost much to provide a decent portion? Won't be going back.
